Mr. Croft, the club owner, initially had a sinister plan for Surprise Mbayo, a talented soukous dancer from Cotonou. Surprising him after a performance, Mr. Croft drugged Surprise and coerced him into working for him. Despite his captivity, Surprise's online presence soared, but he still harbored a desire to escape and find his idol, Don Shagz. Little did he know, Mr. Croft had locked away his physical body and used cutting-edge technology to transfer his consciousness into another vessel. However, fate took an unexpected turn when Mr. Croft met his demise from a spiked drink. It was then that Nickey emerged, revealing the antidote that could have saved Mr. Croft and frees Surprise from the virtual world, allowing him to awaken.
